Work environmentThis is not a New Year’s resolution, but I’m planning to write a lot more on this blog this year. As I listened to the book of Proverbs towards the end of 2017, I thought there was much wisdom in there for us to feed on for at least the beginning of this year. I especially like the pithy, short sentence, poetry-like proverbs from around chapter ten going forward. So, we’ll be looking at a lot of those, and let me start with the one that seems obvious:

He who has a slack hand becomes poor,
But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
He who gathers in summer is a wise son;
He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.
